Dr. Ajay Joshi, DDS, MSD
Dr. Joshi has enjoyed being involved in the community. Growing up around healthcare, he watched his father provide compassionate and exceptional medical care for many generations in our community. While attending Marion High School he was a member of the varsity tennis team and was inducted into the National Honor Society his senior year. After high school, he attended Butler University in Indianapolis and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a Spanish minor. Growing up with a sister with Down Syndrome, Dr. Joshi understood the impact that health care professionals can have on families and individuals with special needs. While attending Indiana University School of Dentistry, he participated in multiple community outreach programs. His passion for children and individuals with special needs inspired him to continue his studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Joshi logged countless hours at Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital and learned from some of the best pediatric healthcare professionals in the world. At NSU, he obtained his Master's Degree in Pediatric Dentistry. During his pediatric dental residency, Dr. Joshi also helped lead a mission trip to Spanishtown, Jamaica providing dental care to underprivileged children.
Dr. Joshi is board-certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently is an adjunct faculty and an assistant clinical professor in the Pediatric Dentistry department at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Joshi has given many lectures throughout the state of Indiana to various healthcare organizations and continues to be an active member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Joshi enjoys watching sports and cartoons with his 12-year-old daughter and his 5-year-old son. He loves to tell imaginative stories to his patients.
